How to find a new job that you enjoy

Many people work in jobs or for people they dislike.

Quitting may not be the answer because most people need the money to pay their bills and have no savings to rely on. You may feel stuck and afraid of not knowing how to change things.

Here are some practical steps that work…

  1. Develop a compelling reason to do this job, for now. Consider what your life would be like if you had no income. That certainly would not feel better. So, this may be the leverage you need to keep you motivated to do this work, for now.
  2. While continuing to work at your current job, start immediately to search for a new job that is more in line with your values, dreams and overall joy.
  3. Make a list of the qualities you want in your new job. Such as location, salary, bonuses, benefits, company size, etc.
  4. Research the companies that appeal to you and send them your resume.
  5. Send your resume to employment agencies and be proactive with your employment search.

It can be discouraging when the job offers are not coming your way. I suggest adopting a healthy self-care routine, work-out, eat well, rest, play and spend time in nature.

Do what you love, as an example, if your goal is to be a fashion designer, create a space in home and time in which to design. This is very important. Do not stop doing what you love because you are not getting paid to do it.

Press on,

Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

Life is simple what we give out we get back

ballonsI love the idea of receiving gifts from the Universe. These can be material things, or the right circumstances, “exquisite timing” or a general sense of ease and flow in your life.

Many individuals find it easier to give than to receive. There seems to be some sort of modesty or discomfort in truly allowing ourselves to receive. Many associate receiving with greed, when in fact they have nothing to do with each other.

Some people believe that if they take too much, there will be nothing left for others. We do not live in a universe where such scarcity is a concern. The universe is constantly renewing its supply because it is the source of unlimited supply.

Every day you are receiving life. The breath you breathe is constantly available. Think about this, when was the last time you stopped to worry, “what if, after this breath, there was no more air to breathe?” It sounds absurd, but we blindly trust that it will be available.

You are not doing anyone any favours when you close yourself off and do not allow yourself to simply receive.

To live in balance is to allow yourself to give and receive in a way that feels natural and comfortable to you.

Whether you are receiving a compliment, a cup of coffee or a stack of cash, don’t shy away. Be grateful for it and say “thank you”. The Universe wants to lavish you with abundance and well-being.

Dig Deep and Fix the Money Problem

Sarah Gail Suze EricWhen you think of money what comes to mind? Do you feel at peace, safe, in control and that money comes easily? Or do you worry, fret, feel unsure, unsafe or just want to curl up like a ball and avoid the topic all together?

Regardless of your money situation most people have some kind of reaction to the word money. If you want a better relationship with money, there are certain things you need to do.

  1. Get out of debt

  2. Avoid creating it again

  3. Live within your means

  4. Cultivate an abundance mind set

  5. Have self-worth

You can create emotional and material prosperity but there are certain things you need to do and you may not like it at first but the price you pay for keeping yourself in lack and in debt will diminish not only your net worth but self-worth.

If you are struggling financially or fear losing your money this is a good indication that you would benefit from developing a prosperity consciousness. Here are some of my favorite teachers  that can help you improve your relationship with money and prosperity.
